DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

No we do not. As we provide measurements and photos of any imperfections found on the garment due to it's vintage age, we do not accept returns. Each vintage piece is unique and we are as transparent as possible about the condition so that there are no surprises when the garment is received. The same no returns policy applies to purchases made in store. We do not refund or credit if you change your mind.

 

WHEN DO YOU PUT UP NEW ITEMS?

We will be uploading new stock on a weekly basis - be sure to check back regularly!

 

HAVE THESE GARMENTS BEEN WASHED BEFORE I RECEIVE THEM?

Yes, all our items have been washed before they go live on the online store.

 

HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR ITEMS?

Where possible, the garment’s size that is printed on the label will be mentioned, but please use this as a guide only. As sizing fluctuates greatly from country to country, from era to era, and from manufacturer to manufacturer, trying to translate vintage sizes into the standardised sizing systems we use today is no smooth task. We’ve given detailed measurements for all of our items, so please compare these to your exisiting items of clothing to see how they'll fit.

HOW DOES POSTAGE WORK?

We post daily between Monday to Friday. Most items posted before 4:00pm AWST will arrive within 5-7 business days depending where in Australia you’re located. For international orders, please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to arrive.

 

DO YOU OFFER EXPRESS POST?

Yes! Simply select ‘Express Post’ from the drop down menu upon checking out and your order will be with you within 2-3 business days if within Australia.

 

IF I BUY MORE THAN ONE ITEM, WILL YOU COMBINE POSTAGE?

Yes!

 

I HAVE JUST PLACED AN ORDER. CAN I CHANGE IT OR CANCEL IT?

Our online store is completely automated and in most cases, we cannot make amendments to your order once confirmed. If you’ve made a mistake or found something else you’d like to swap for, there is a possibility we can swap the order for you manually, but there are no guarantees. Be sure to email us ASAP at bestbeforeapparel@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to help you out. If you wish to cancel an order, you can do so at no cost prior to us posting it, or if you have already received your items, you may return this at your own expense.
